Description: This course emphasizes performance of music at an intermediate level that strikes a balance between challenge and skill. Student learning will include participating in creative activities and listening perceptively. Students will also be required to develop a thorough understanding of the language of music, including the elements, terminology, and history.

Course Code: AMI2OE. Gr. 10 Instrumental
This course is designed for students who have experience in music. It is generally open only to students who display exceptional potential in performance, analysis and theory during their study in Gr. 9 music classes.

Gr. 10 students will be expected to perform in the Concert Band. The band is generally open only to students who are registered in Gr. 10 music courses within given school year. The Intermediate Band practices on Tuesdays after school.
